I Hear the Freedom Chimes

Empty streets and sleepless nights,

Bothersome bug that no one sights
Lay businesses for the interim aside,
Keeping in situ everyone’s pride;

But as the world reels under lockdown,

Cops, nurses and leaders frown,
Today we got something to learn;
Red and Orange zones restore Ozone
Aiding Green Earth with what was gone;
If sin and shame could destroy the world
Yin and Yang could now save the world
And yes!
If history rhymes I hear the Freedom chimes
If economy bleeds I simply amend my deeds!

Could this be the end or a new beginning?

An ode everyone today might be singing
And with the market globally downsizing,
The outcome could indeed be astounding;
People we can see already migrating,
While the Earth merrily is rejuvenating,
The birds of air I hear sweetly singing,
Even as the air become rich for breathing,
Making it a healthier place for our living
If human stupor could destroy the world
God’s wisdom restores us to the time of old
And yes!

If economy bleeds I simply amend my deeds!

How long would man give liberty to his kids?

Would he not draw boundaries and limits?
Who should we run to for mercy and help
When in trouble from breaking a rule?
Learn how the jenny attracts her mule,
And panting deer runs to the brooks
Who gives to all men liberty and concord?
Psalmist says, ‘’my help comes from the Lord’’
Under the Rock there is refuge and strength
Rest and peace He gives to those who seek,
Life and shape He gives, whose sight is bleak
And yes!
