Epitome of Faith

What an act of faith so bold,

Shown by Abraham of old,

When the Lord said, “Take your son,”

Sacrifice your only one!

Early morning, up he rose,

With a mule, the fire, and wood in tow,

Isaac asked, “But where’s the lamb?”

Abraham said, “Trust God’s plan.”
